I was contracted by Bina Maya Yallingup Escape to build a custom wordpres theme to showcase their luxury escape properties in the South West of Western Australia.
Working closely with Sara, the business owner we came up with a design brief to make use of their high quality images, subtle animations and scandanavian colours to reflect the luxury and quality of the accomodation.
Behind the scenes I created a custom post type and respective templates to handle the accomodation posts and make it easy to manage. I created some custom Gutenberg blocks to make an easy system for Sara to build pages as she needs them without needing me or another developer to create and edit pages.
I also embedded the Little Hotelier booking engine as seamlessly as I could (given its limitations) to give the best booking experience I could.
